The Carbonates Along the Schuylkill, Montgomery County

The PGS will meet at the Chemalloy Company parking lot, 1301 Conshohocken Road, at 9:00 am. Because of bridge work, enter Conshohocken Road from Ridge Pike in Norristown.

We will look at a cross section of the carbonates along the Schuylkill River Bike Path from south to north. We may be able to view a quarry as well. Afterwards, we will visit a dramatic sinkhole in Plymouth Creek.

Please call about last minute details.

Sturdy shoes are a good idea. Bring a lunch, family and/or friends. We will provide refreshments.

Hope to see you there.
